Some of the desks in my classroom are old and there are lots of all kinds of writings on them. Today, one boy told me that his desk was adorned with my whole name and this: Love u © You’re wonderful. You’ve got a nice ass. Later I went to see for myself and it looked like a girl’s handwriting and was written in pink.

Also, I’m working in a small town that doesn’t even have cable TV. Luckily, mine’s got the possibility to antenna tuning, so that's not been a problem. No chance to get Swedish channels, though. I don’t even have Eurosport now. Apparently a satellite dish would be cheaper than buying a digi-box and extra channels. No thank you.

So far the job’s been the easiest I’ve ever had. Twenty lessons per week, no class teacher duties, same old books with the exception of 7^th grade English, 16-21 pupils in a class. Fewer lessons means less money, of course, though I’ve got seven (!) useless free periods that I could easily use to teaching. Now I’m just hanging around in my classroom or in he staff room reading the papers or surfing the non-fan fiction sites on the net. Also, I’ve got a higher rent than last year, when I had more lessons too.

Not that I’m complaining, because easy is easy and my last year’s class was all kinds of trouble and meant lots of evening work.

So was the wedding a boring, impersonal, overly simplistic, too well-rehearsed pageant lacking in colour, splendour and emotion or was it beautiful, understated and stylish?

Was the maid of honour more gorgeous than the bride and did the best man seem more moved by the occasion than the groom?

Why did the BBC think the only guests out of the 1,900 worth showing were the Beckhams, Elton John with husband, David Cameron with wife, Diana’s brother and Harry’s ex?

Was it really necessary to keep the cameras on the choir almost all the time they were singing? (Maybe the guests were yawning or napping or something..)

Anyways, the car ride was a nice touch.

JGL is going to be in TDKR!!!! I liked Nolan’s first Batman, hated the second, and I am loving this one already because it’s got JGL and Tom Hardy in it.

I’ve now watched more movies than I did all last year, and it’s only March!

Couple of days ago I posted my first job application of the year.

There are going to be Parliamentary Elections next month, and I did one of those tests where you can compare your views with the candidates’. Apparently my top ten most compatible candidates are from the Green League (5), the Communist Party and the Left Alliance (two from each), plus one Social Democrat. Eight of the top ten were men. That’s kind of surprising.

I tried to watch that Hawaii cop show but didn’t notice any special chemistry between the very average main characters. Just as well, because I hated the first episode. It would be nice to have a new TV show to follow, but everything sounds stupid or is done to death or turns out to be horrible when I give it a try.

Still very much head over heels for everything Arthur/Eames, though. The WIPs are better than any TV show, and I’ve got soooo many fics on my to-read list. And the JGL and Tom Hardy squee-age makes me smile almost daily. Speaking of which, I saw this on somebody’s tumblr:

So last night I dreamed that JGL put me in a bunk bed. I’m sure the bed is the same as in Adelaide_rain’s adorable summer camp fic Here by My Side, and JGL was very much like Arthur in Skellerbvvt’s Rule Ten, where Arthur puts Eames in bed and Eames really likes it. Well, I don’t know if I had the same exact reaction as Eames did, but I can tell I was very happy and content to be allowed in the top bunk, because that was JGL’s.

He left me there for some time, and when he came back I caressed his face thinking how wonderfully soft his cheeks felt and then we kissed. And then I woke up panting hard, desperately trying not to forget anything. Sadly, the only other thing I remember now is that at some point during the dream we were in the library where I spent quite a lot of time as a child/teenager. Also, at some point I was sucking his earlobe.

Then I fell asleep again and dreamed that my brother was smoking pot with Brad Pitt and Tom Hardy. LOLOL!!!!

I think contemplating JGL’s posts about celebrities and fictional characters is affecting my subconscious.

Not that I’m complaining.

More embarrassment: I’m spending my holiday money (or whatever it’s called in English) from work on every JGL and Tom Hardy movie/TV show I can get my hands on. I also ordered this book. What I really would like there to be is a gorgeous picture book of him to drool over. Just photos of him being all lovely and adorable and sexy. Mmmm…

I can understand why people think he’s a pretentious hipster or whatever, but his smile is too genuine and frequent to convince me. Like, one moment he’s saying something ”hipsterish” and then he starts smiling, sort of self-deprecatingly and very very sweetly. No way is he faking that smile.

Then there’s Tom Hardy. I’m not sure what happened, but suddenly I’m interested in him too. Before Inception, I’d never even heard of him, let alone seen any of his work, but I love him as Eames. His voice, looks and how he plays the part. It’s going to be exciting to see him in other roles, but for now, it’s all about Eames. Just yesterday, while making tea, I caught myself reciting Eames and Cobb’s Mombasa discussion in my head (yes, I’ve watched the movie so many times) and thinking about how fascinating the character is. Of course it doesn’t hurt that there’s Arthur and their relationship to contemplate as well.

Which brings me to the actual point of this post: More WIPs I’m following!

I keep telling myself no more WIPs but with little success. I re-read Babysitter!Arthur (again and again), and Chav!Eames (it has three parts now), and then I have to check all the other goodies I’m following too. Actually, the more the merrier, because chances are at least one of them has been updated. 

And I should be sleeping now, it's 6 AM. Oh well.
